National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Government funding that enables eligible Australians aged under 65 years old with permanent and significant disability obtain the support and services that they need.
NDIS gives people with disability choice and control to choose their provider to enable them to lead an independent life and achieve goals that are important to them.
While this may sound confusing, Care to Change can help you through the process of NDIS support.
How Does the NDIS Work?
As each person’s circumstances and disabilities are unique this will determine the amount of funding that is needed.
The funding will allow the eligible person to access the supports and services that are reasonable and necessary for them to work towards or reach their goals.
